This business has been thriving with a growing base of loyal customers. REIDS, like many successful businesses face the problem of large amounts of administration and paperwork. Original paper based business processes are now outdated and slow, a solution was needed to streamline company administrative processes. In addition to this, a new enterprise level email system was required to meet the needs to an enlarging workforce so that companywide disclaimers were added to all outbound emails.

SharePoint was a huge plus for me and had all the tools required to solve our complex problems.”
REIDS worked with Cloud Design Box to setup and configure Office 365. The emails were migrated from a third-party system into Exchange Online (part of Office 365). Robert commented “It was important for us to not lose any of our emails or data during the move, Cloud Design Box provided a professional and smooth transition to the new service.”
SharePoint had been used previously as a storage area for documents (although many files remained on windows file shares), Cloud Design Box worked closely with REIDS to propose a new site architecture using subsites, lists, libraries, content types and workflows. The remaining on-premises files were migrated across into SharePoint Online. Tony Phillips at Cloud Design Box said “It was important to generate a clear structure so that all of the employees could access the appropriate data and workflows”.
REIDS have started using several workflows implemented by Cloud Design Box including holiday requests, invoicing reconciliation and tool calibration reminders. Robert continued “Invoicing reconciliation was a purely manual paper based process before SharePoint, it was time consuming and not very efficient. Cloud Design Box created a workflow to take the hard work out of it.” REIDS are now considering which other business processes could be streamlined using SharePoint Online.
